Line thickening

Thanks to the list for its advice; I'm slowly getting there. Another theoretic
question: Presumably, using d.3d, I should be able to choose an
appropriate observer position which replicates a plan view, overlayed map, no?
In that case, what should the viewing parameters be? I've had some weird
looking results when employing a height the same as the region edge, positioned
near the centroid of the region, 15 deg field of view, looking towards an
elevation of (elevation_min*exag). This is release 4.0, nb; I'm aware of the
problems which were posted re 4.1.
