r.watershed

I've been successfully using 'r.watershed' to create the aspect map for 
the 'r.water.outlet' catchment program. However I've just been asked by 
someone in Hydrology to derive a large catchment. The problem is that the 
SPARC I'm using has so far being running for 24 solid and only managed 21%

Is there any program which generates just the aspect map necessary for 
'r.water.outlet' - hopefully quicker  8-)
