ALTEK DIGITIZER DRIVER

Eric,
  Thanks for you response. Now at least I know this problem is nothing to do with the hardware connection but the driver. As you said, if I ignore the 
	"Digitizer read error. Do we continue (y/n)?" message and push the
digitizer's button 0 and 4, then go back to the keyboard to answer the error
prompt with yes tiwce, I will get a point to be registered. The problem is that
this error prompt will always come out. Therefore, when I get to the stage where
the program asks for setting the graphic window size with the digitizer's cursor
I couldn't see the cursor anywhere at all. 
	Does anyone know what the differences between the command set of Altek
controller AC30 and AC31 ? Although Altek people told me that AC30 is 
"compatible" with AC31 controller, but I am still not sure. 

	Does CERL know this problem? Or this is not a problem for all other
Altek or Calcomp digitizer users with GRASS4.1?

		Anyone have the similar problem PLEASE response our mail.
