help: interpolate using r.surf.contour

Dear Grass Users,

I try to use r.surf.contour to interpolate my contour data for 5m by 5m pixel,
and i got this error message;

error writing segment file
WARNING: cseg_open(): could not write segment file
Arithmetic Exception

I don't have any idea why it is giving this error message. Pls can anyone
advise me what to do to rectify this error.
