grass & solaris2.5

Hi grassusers,

I've installed a solaris version on my sunsparc4 (grass4.1u5sol2.5 from
moon /outgoing).

When I digit the well knows d.command, 
GRASS-GRID>d.mon start=x0

grass responds:
Usage:
      d.mon
           (This command must be run interactively)

GRASS-GRID>
An if I follow the interactivity choosing the monitor listing option the
response is the same!
