Announce: GRASS 4.2.1 V.13 released

Dear GRASS Community,

after some more xx hours of work the next release of
GRASS 4.2.1 is available! My personal thanks to the
helpful people (see below) all over the world...

What is new:

Version 13 (15. April 98)
 - new LTPlus_4.13 added (Many thanks to Jill Schuler!)
 - new MAPGEN_6.25 added (upgrade in src.related/mapgen_6.25)
      (Many thanks to Jill Schuler <jschuler at>!)
    -> both with first corrections. 
 - coming along with this package: proj 4.3 
 - tcltkgrass free of binary code now (platform independent)
       -> new start script  src.alpha/tcltkgrass/script/tcltkgrass
        unless "super view" is not implemented properly
    (my thanks to Jacques Bouchard!)
 - src.alpha/ changed: patch, which enables user to choose one vector
                   category to print from a vector file (thanks to Janne
                   Soimasuo, Finnland!)
 - src.alpha/
       added:     #include <stdlib.h> (correction of raster read error)

 - added src.alpha/raster/r.sunmask (thanks to Janne Soimasuo)
 - added src.alpha/scripts/
 - added src.alpha/scripts/

 - added fill polygon function to d.vect.cats

Also available:

  - GRASS 4.2.1 V.13 Linux Binaries

     new here: 
        - r.agnps50.input,, r.agnps50.view
          (they were missing in V.12, sorry).
        - above code corrections ( etc.)
        - TclTkGRASS (new start script)
     not yet included: LTPlus binaries, MAPGEN-binaries
        (hopefully coming soon)
