Hi!

Concerning GRASS 5: the r.in.hdf/r.out.hdf is in
src.garden/grass.hdf/

But it needs a few changes in Gmakefile. Get the updated
package here:

ftp www.geog.uni-hannover.de
cd /incoming
grass.hdf.tar.gz

(ftp://www.geog.uni-hannover.de/incoming/grass.hdf.tar.gz)

It is not yet updated to floating point support (any volunteers?).
But I could successfully import satellite data in HDF format.

Best regards
