[GRASSLIST:3572] Re: NVIZ in 5.7

Gerry,

I believe you've hit a known bug in GRASS 5.7. NVIZ won't start from 
the GUI g.parser interface you get when you run it from the command 
line, nor will it accept front loaded elevation data (or any other 
data). The only way it will run is to start 'quietly' without loading 
data up front.

nviz -q

Then load the data once NVIZ has started.
