[GRASSLIST:3527] Configuration error

hello

when I was trying to install grass5.3, I encountered such
a problem in ./configure:

checking for glBegin in -lGL... no
checking for glBegin in -lGL... no
configure: error: *** Unable to locate OpenGL library.

what do you have to do to solve the problem ?

this is configuration I tried

--without-fftw  \
--without-odbc \
--without-freetype \
--without-readline \
--without-lapack \
--with-tcltk-includes=/usr/include \
--with-tcltk-libs=/usr/lib/tcl8.4 \
--with-postgres-includes=/usr/local/pgsql/include \
--with-postgres-libs=/usr/local/pgsql/lib  \
--with-proj-libs=/usr/local/lib
