[GRASSLIST:9272] Equalizing contrast between geotiffs

Some weeks ago, I posted a question asking how to equalize contrasts
between geotiffs.

One open-source piece of software that can do this is OSSIM:

http://www.ossim.org/

There are no RPMs for the most recent version. But once it is compiled
yada yada, it is truly AWESOME! I've created 5+ gig geotiffs and the
program even allows one to view such large files quickly and easily by
creating various support files.

The program is under active development.

Cheers!

-------------------
I have a bunch of air-photos (geotiffs) which overlap slightly. Is
there an easy way to equalize the contrasts between all the air-photos?

For example, how would one do this for two air-photos? What if its a
block of 4??

Each individual air-photo is quite large, so computational burden is a
concern.

I'm also quite willing to consider non-GRASS options. I'm not that up on
image processing issues.

Thanks!
Craig
