[GRASSLIST:5900] clean shp imported

Dear users...
I've got a problem about an imported shp area file (land use map)...
it is composed of a large number of area that (I have seen using
v.digit) are all duplicated...  
the problem is that I have tried to clean it:

v.clean input=clc2000 output=clc2000_clean tool=rmdupl,bpol
 thresh=0,0

or also:

v.clean input=clc2000 output=clc2000_clean tool=rmdupl,bpol

but the map I obtain is still the same I was started from!!! there are
not differences....

do you know how can I solve the problem??? cna you help me????
