Hi,

the upcoming GRASS newsletter (which will hopefully be published soon)
will have an article about VMAP0/ogr2ogr. It contains two scripts to
fix problems related to the VMAP0 naming scheme and the OGDI
driver in OGR.

Yes, there are differencies between v0noa and other 3 regions (in
this moment I don't remember which but the scripts in the article
should work for all regions).

If urgent, I can sent a draft of the article to you.
