Hello everyone,
I am (also) very new to using grass.
I am trying to import (to a new location) a DEM from an esri database.
The map's current type is an Arc/Info Binary grid (or .adf file). I
know that this file type is supported in gdal, and that it can be
imported to a raster/new location using r.in.gdal -eo and so forth. My
problem is that the complete map is actually stored in a structure (of a
sort) involving 5-6 files. The documentation for r.in.gdal and its
interaction with Arc/Info binary grids says that you can specify the
"coverage directory," but the command does not accept input="dir." Is
there some extra option that allows this usage? What is the best
technique for importing this type of file?
Thanks,
Michael Kowen
