[GRASS-user] GRASS 6.1.0beta1 released

Hi,

as announced earlier, I have created the GRASS 6.1.0
branch (branch name: "releasebranch_6_1") and tagged
a 6.1.0beta1 release.

The source code package is available at:
 http://grass.itc.it/grass61/source/

It will be on the mirrors in 1-2 days.

Before announcing it widely with a press release etc,
it should go for testing now on the various platforms.

congrats to all people involved!
