[GRASS-user] A couple of question about NVIZ

Dear NVIZ-GRASSusers,

I have a couple of questions about NVIZ (GRASS6.2.3 and 6.3)):

 

1) What's the meaning of the flag -x and parameter path in nviz command?

-x should  'Start in Demo mode', but nothing seems to happen.

path should 'Set alternative panel path' but I don't understand which kind
of panel is referring to.

 

2) In File > Save image as...> Maximum Resolution PPM, the image is saved in
a file with '..the highest resolution (size) supported by the users graphics
setup'. Is there a way for the user to set the size (in cm or inches) or the
size is fixed?
