[GRASS-user] convert a raster map on a matrix on python.

Dear all,

how can I read all "lines" of a raster map and
assing it on a matrix (list of lists) on python.

I am able to get all informations about a raster map,
using for example grass.raster_info('MYMAP')
but I need to load the grass raster map as a
"grid" on python.

Any help are welcome.
