[GRASS-user] r.surf.contour------G_malloc() no response

i am using r.surf.contour module and it takes long to respond. i have a
large map.
But when i do v.to.rast goes fine after v.digit.
but r.surf.contour generates
G_malloc() errors when run after a long time.
I wan to create a digital elevation model.
i created the vector from digitising with raster backdrop and
corrected vectors with v.build. The digitised vector from v.digit was also
good when displayed.
so i run v.to.rast module and the vector map got rasterised properly.


now i want to run r.surf.contour and create an elevation map. when run
modulw with proper parameters (input=rasterised map) it runs ok. After a
long time it exists with some errors as:

G_malloc() and some other errors and warnings. i have a plenty of memory as
512MB ram and good AMD processor.
please help me if anyone can.
