[GRASS-user] Build error: git repo master

Markus,

I removed the older directory and created a new one ~/gis/grass/grass_src/.
In that subdirectory I cloned the git repo.

Again it failed when building:

Finished compilation: Fri Jul 12 10:36:37 PDT 2019
Makefile:57: recipe for target 'default' failed
make: *** [default] Error 1

Have you -- or anyone else -- any thoughts on what else might be causing
this error?
