[GRASS-user] v.surf.idw Not Working

So you're trying to blend two overlapping rasters of different 
resolution? Can we see the output of r.info for both of the rasters?

The sqlite database is empty since you probably have no vector layers in 
your mapset. That's not necessarily a problem.
