[GRASS-windows] r.series & g.mlist

Hi 

I have a problem creating average maps with r.series and g.mlist in my sh
executed by msys sh.exe on windows xp with GRASS 6.4.0:

What is the syntax error here:
r.series input="`g.mlist pattern='*TSM*' separator=comma`"
output=TSM.average method=average

This command works fine when run seperately:
g.mlist pattern=*TSM* separator=comma

Any suggestions?
