[Lizmap] WFS publish includes edit?

Hi all,
I noticed that a layer published as WFS in Project properties, *without*
the flags insert/update/delet switched on, contrary to my expectations,
is editable nevertheless in Lizmap. Is this the way it is supposed to
work, or is it a bug (presumably on the qgis server side)?
