OK, a first draft is available under:
http://www.mapbender.org/index.php/Tree_GDE_2_redesign. I added this as
a discussion point for next weeks IRC meeting.
Christoph, I hope you're not too disappointed when you see "my usage" of
jquery :-) ... it's far less exciting than you might expect.
