Thanks for your reply. My PHP installation lists the DOM library as follows

dom
DOM/XML enabled
DOM/XML API Version 20031129
libxml Version 2.6.30
HTML Support     enabled
XPath Support     enabled
XPointer Support     enabled
Schema Support     enabled
RelaxNG Support     enabled

I'm using PHP 5.2.3. What PHP version are you using? What is your server OS?
