[mapguide-internals] Context menu localization

Hi Jorge,

Strings appearing in the viewer's UI can come from 2 different sources:

 - The language file, such as 'en'. These strings are controlled by
MapGuide and thus can be localized independently of any specific
application, which you have been doing so far.

 - The web layout. Commands are created and named by the user. Even
built-in command labels can be modified with MapGuide Studio. Because
those strings are user-defined you cannot localize them, only the user
can. If a user implements a web site which supports the Spanish
language, then he must supply a Spanish version of the web layout, with
localized command names inside.

Hi friends, still worlking on spanish localization. It looks like it is
not
possible to localize built in command labels. Am I missing something? I
would like to have context menu in spanish.
On the other hand, help html files have to be edited one by one. It
would be
possible to have templates to be filled with text in an "en" file? Like
text
at buffer or measure menues where texts are in an "en" file.. Working
with
files like this ones is faster.
