Hi Crispin,
> Can there be a final 2.0.2 release before committing to CS-Map in 2.1?
What would you like to see in that 2.0.2 release? A choice between PROJ4 and
CS-Map?
>>> Ask someone what they want and it is always everything! Ideally a final
>>> Proj4 release to make 2.x a stable and accessible platform for existing
>>> sites. I do see CS-Map implementation as more than a .dot release and
>>> certainly http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/roadmap has defined 2.1 as just

>>> a include CS-Map really seems like a 3.0. I want to see CS-Map come
>>> along but managed. Does OSGeo have the resources to support MG with
>>> Proj.4 up to a 2.1 release in parallel with a CS-Map at 3.0 and onwards?

Are we talking about the end user installer?
If you install MapGuide server using the Windows installer, I believe the
installer will take care of installing all it needs. That would indeed
inflate the size of the installer.
>>> I see the 11g release folder from Mentor (Map 2009) is only 8MB without
>>> the country grid files but still 132MB on disk which could seriously
>>> inflate the Windows installer. Certainly would be beneficial to not
>>> have all the country grid folders as default as they are, by definition,
>>> of regional interest.
