[mapguide-internals] Partial transparency support in PNG8 output

Hi list,
I send my question here because I have no answer on the user list.
It's annoying to have to use PNG24 when there is less than 256 colors. Files
size is really huge :( 
Is alpha transparency now supported in MG2.1 PNG8 Output as shown in this

If not, i just would like to know if it could be enhancement in the future.
Do i have to open a new ticket ?
