could you please have a look at ticket http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/ticket/1463 and the patch attached to it?

It's about fixing a bug in the Mg CS API where the calls to the CsMap API aren't correctly protected by the [CriticalClass] variable as currently implemented in CriticalSection.h. Basically, the patch moves the implementation of the [CustomCriticalSection] class in its own Cpp file and declares the references to the [CriticalClass] variable in CriticalSection.h extern.
