[mapguide-users] OnSelection Event?

I have tried that decode64 function  with the value from this key
<ID>rBAAAA==</ID> but it returned some weird characters..

 

What should I use to query the layer to get the attributes? Is there an
example of this somewhere. I'm looking at the web api reference, it
would be easier if there were short examples with this. What service
should I use? It's just not yet very clear to me how it all works
exactly.

I think that the answer to that might be in the DWF Viewer API thread
from yesterday. (Base64 encoded version of the feature's key?)  I didn't
follow it all that closely though.

 

If that's correct, then you'd set up a server-side script that takes
that ID, performs a query against the layer/id, and retrieves your
required attributes.

Cool. Changing the default handler to my own function. I'm gonna check
this out next.

 

Maybe you have got an answer on my question about the xml that is
returned?
