Unclassified exception when loading map

Hi all,
 
We have just rolled out MapGuide on a new site and instead of the map
loading, I am getting this message.
 
An unclassified exception occurred.
An unclassified exception occured. Exception occured in method MgMap.Create
at line 404 in file
C:\build_tux_area\mgdev\common\service\maplayer\Map.cpp
 
In studio, the map or its layers don't display at all! 
 
What does this mean??
