Now I am on the Server make test command and it seems hung on this:

(1165|3026582016) MgServiceManager::Initialize()
(1165|3026582016) MgServiceManager::Initialize() - Creating Resource Service.
Repositories/Site: No such file or directory
Repositories/Site/__db.001: No such file or directory
(1165|3026582016) An exception occurred in DB component.
DbEnv::open: No such file or directory
Exception occurred in method MgDbEnvironment.MgDbEnvironment at line 98 in file DbEnvironment.cpp
(1165|3026582016) MgServer::~MgServer()
(1165|3026582016) MgSessionCache::~MgSessionCache()
(1165|3026582016) MgServiceManager::~MgServiceManager()
(1165|3026582016) Releasing Resource Service. Reference Count: 1
(1165|3026582016) Resource Service released.
(1165|3026582016) MgServerManager::~MgServerManager()

Any ideas?

	What is your value for <install directory>?

	This value should be the root location where your FDO open-source code is extracted and built. The SHP provider needs to find the relevant FDO and Third-party headers and libraries built in this location. If you have not built FDO using the steps in the README file, then you will be experiencing difficulties building any provider.

	I was trying to do teh SHP provider seperately since that was the only one not built. I had to do:

	export FDO=<install directory>/Fdo
	export FDOUTILITIES=<install directory>/Utilities
	export FDOTHIRDPARTY=<install directory>/Thirdparty

	I will being trying that as soon as I can.

	I am on Freenet IRC #mapguide if anyone wants to talk Linux. If I can't get this stuff working on Linux by Tuesday I am not sure how much more I will be trouble shooting.

		What process did you use to build FDO and its dependant Third-party
		files? Did you follow the build steps located in the FDO OpenSource
		OpenSourceBuild__README.txt file?

		configure: error: The default FDO API path is not a valid directory.
		Please use the custom option

		What is the simple fix for this? I have all the other FDO files built in
		/usr/local/fdo.../lib seems SHP was skipped. Any idea cause I am really
		burnt out on tweaking configure files :)
