[mapguide-users] Problem with installation

Hi all, i am trying install MG but, i can´t.

 

I install both, MG and extension, on a XP with IIS and a PHP administrator.
That’s impossible make run, in php I get error that CGI or FastCGI has an
exception in windows and close. If I try to use my own PHP version installed
on this computer, we don´t have anything, is like they run, but not work,
the admin page.

 

We need someone help with the installation. I see the pdf on how to install,
and not work.

I think part of the reason this was not working is that I did not configure
for PHP development. The installation notes suggest you can configure for
both .NET and PHP development but as the virtual directories for viewers
point to either the .NET or PHP folders, it is not clear how or even if this
can be done.

 

So I've installed the additional PHP components so that I now have a
mapviewerphp folder under \WebServerExtensions\www. However it is not
configured as a virtual folder under IIS, and the virtual folders for
mapviewerajax and mapviewerdwf still point to the .NET folders.

 

It has made a slight difference to the configbuilder script - it now returns
a ' no images found' message when I enter a valid path to a C drive location
where there are some images.

 

Any suggestions?

I'm trying to test these but can't get the configbuilder script to work. An
'Invalid image path' message is returned if the path is on the D drive, and
if I move it to C drive, no error but the page updates to show just
'X-Powered-By: PHP/5.0.5 Content-type: text/html' without creating the
FeatureSource.

Is there any particular format the path needs to be entered in? 

This is on Windows XP with IIS 5.
