[mapguide-users] Getting Started Site Admin Problem

You can start/stop the service from the Services MSC just like all other
services:
Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
You you can describe and replicate the problem, please file a ticket.
When you download the MGP package with IE, it guesses that it is indeed
a Zip file, and renames it.
You must take the entire zip file, and give it extension "mgp". Windows
Explorer sometimes hides the extensions of files per default, so watch
out for that.
When you have the MGP package, place the single file into the packages
directory, and it will appear in the Site Administrator.
