[mapguide-users] Programmatically Selecting / Querying Features
from a Layer (Not Feature Source)

Hello All.
This sounded quite simple to me, but is causing real problems.
I have successfully been able to select features and iterate through them by
using FeatureSource of a layer.
I saw that the MgLayer also has got a method called 'SelectFeatures' and
should work the same way as that of querying a Feature Source. I set up the
resource service, opened the site, created session, specified the layer
definition etc... but couldn't achieve what I wanted to.
I cannot post my code here, but would somebody be kind enough to post a
sample (C#) code where a selection of features is done on a Layer. Assume
that you are creating the search polygon by hardcoded values in WGS84 and
the layer is also in WGS84.
Please try to post full code, right from initialization to the getting the
features selected in an MgFeatureReader. I would be able to compare where I
went wrong.
Any help would be great and much appreciated.
Many thanks
DevMan.
