Could you log the NULL exception with a ticket for Maestro?

To restore your db, try to go to the webform:
http://localhost/mapguide/mapagent/index.html

Use the "DeleteResource" function, and in the ResourceId field enter:
"Library://New Folder/"

Then click Submit, the defect resource should now be removed, and 
everything
should work as normal.
