[mapguide-users] Editing tool using MapGuide Open Source

Hello Friends ,

                 I have a task  of developing a editing tool using MapGuide
Open source.
Right now I am  using MapGuide 2.01 , IIS 5.1 and Visual Studio 2005 (IDE)..
I googled & found most of the time about OpenLayers ( javascript api) .. Can
OpenLayer can work Mapguide without any hassles...?can any provide any
information about how to proceed?
 any guidelines , procedures, documents or white paper ,or urls or codes ?
