>>Upgrade
Yeah moving to MGOS 2.1 or 2.2 seams like a good idea. But that will take
sometime.
Just to get this version of MGOS running on Linux took a while for the IT
person
because of compiling issues and stuff. I'll keep it as the 1-before last
resort, last being the move to dedicated server.
>>Ping
I did a ping of the virtual machine host IP using windows CMD here is the
result:
Pinging xxxxx with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from xxxxx: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=61
Reply from xxxxx: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=61
Reply from xxxxx: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=61
Reply from xxxxx: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=61
Ping statistics for xxxxx:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms
I ran it number of times, same result each time.
>>Virtual Machine
I don't know how many OSs are running on that machine.
When I do "free -m" on SSH shell it give me 3804 MB as the total Memory.
>>Cold start
Yeah the 1 min is for cold start.
After initially loading the page (taking 1min), if I reload it immediately
afterwards then the 2nd time the page loads in about 10secs!. The things is,
I increase the dataTimeOutDelay as specified before to 86400 (24hr). Even
then, if I try to load the page again in a couple of hrs time it still take
1 Min to initialise. I though I would have that cache available for a day?
Thanks
Oshan
