Hello,
I have had MGOS working on the old XP box for testing, now I am trying to
install it on the production Windows Server (64 bit) 2008 with IIS7. I am
almost to the point of adding Apache to that server on a different port and
using it like that. But, perhaps you may be able to help.
I have tried installing MGOS using the instruction for 2008 server on IIS7
(I found three different sets of instructions for that and none work
completely), the best one, so far was at geospecialling.com. (Installing and
uninstalling on a working server is not a lot of fun. I have done it four
times now. Thankfully it is under my control and I can check when there are
no users.)
So, I have MGOS installed (as best as I can so far and configured, again, as
best as I can so far) I have php.info working, FCGI working (according to
phpinfo), the administrator pages working and the agent pages come up but
all of the tests (that I have tried) fail with a cannot establish
connection error. I get the same error in Maestro. I have tried the maps
(sheyboygan is loaded but nothing is returned). I tried goggling fcgi, fcgi
IIS7, fcgi 401.5, mapguide fcgi, etc, etc. Looking in forums, etc. I cannot
find an answer to this so I am asking if anyone might have a solution or at
least point me in the direction to begin troubleshooting it.
Looking in the logs it is a 401.5 meaning the FCGI requires a login but it
doesn't ask for one and I have authorization set to anonymous and
application pool.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Tori
