Hi Nadia,

I have the same issue and made 2 workarounds:

The first one is poor HTML with tow frames. One frame with a poor AJAX web
layout. No left, middle and no right side, only with the poor map. The
second Frame consists of some buttons to pan, zoom, take GPS position,
switching layer groups etc.. Not really nice, but it works fine and also
selecting of map elements is possible.

a screenshot from a mobile device (Samsung Galaxy 9000).

The second workaround is only for Android and uses the RenderMap function. A
small Android app calls the rendered map from MapGuide server and shows it
in a canvas. Navigating is possible by touches. In this way is it also
possible to use the (Android-)device hardware like buttons or cmera.

Here a screenshot of Android Version. As you can see, it is also possible
to use the menue functions.

The handling of this way is much better then of the HTML solution. On the
other hand you can use the HTML solution on all devices.

I hope this helps a little bit?

Regards
Peter
