Hi Jackie,

First of all thank You very much that You put so much efforts in developing
this project. I think we all appreciate this much !

I’ve started doing test according to your tips (above)

The results are:
1.it happens on all 5 templates
3.There is no OpenStreetMap background as well (in Overview Map and on
Print).
         Could You attach citation from the Google Maps Terms of Service
which is not legally possible to
         do that and allows to publish Google map as a background ?
4.It happens on all 5 templates and tested browsers during expanding window
size it splits into many

5.For the Scalebar the problem exists on all 5 templates and tested browsers
however on Cyberfox and Aqua template the map is disappears (above) on the
rest templates and browsers map is visible but depending on browser, widgets
on bars are visible or not:

        Chrome

<http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n5037248/Scalebar_Chrome_Slate.jpg>

<http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n5037248/Scalebar_Chrome_turquoiseyellow.jpg>

        Cyberfox

<http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n5037248/Scalebar_cyberfox_Slate.jpg>

        IE

<http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n5037248/Scalebar_IE_Slate.jpg>

<http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n5037248/Scalebar_IE_turquoiseyellow.jpg>

        Opera

<http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n5037248/Scalebar_Opera_Slate.jpg>

Scalebar are invisible on every templates and all tested browsers

Another problem is in Aqua templates and MapMenu widget. Choosing the map
(Sheboygan) the Task window is open

8.Why after close widget’s window the function is still active ?!
The main problem is that there is no intuitive way to off the widget (the
function button is pushed for good :) ). That’s why "annoying" message are
needed.

Every solutions from Open Source to commercial deal with this.
Check it out how they are doing:

Commercial samples
http://gis.calhouncounty.org/FlexViewer3.1/index.html?config=config-splash.xml
http://showcase.gisinc.com/?pid=128

And OpenSource based on the same OpenLayers libraries. Check it out for
example Measure widget
http://southcoast.marinemap.org/marinemap/

You close the window and function is closing !

It is so easy and simple !

There is no confusion, because everywhere it works like that, users get use
to it

It is not only my opinion, it comes from users who saw examples based on MG
OS and they said it was really annoying. That is why I attached this as a
problem

Testing platform:
MS Server 2k8 R2, MG 2.5 Beta 1, bundled configuration , Sheboygan data set,
all templates and browsers:
Opera 12.14 64bit, Opera 12.14 64bit
Google Chrome 25.0.1364.97 32bit
Internet Explorer 9 64bit
Cyberfox 19 64bit
