Note that configuration documents are also a nice attack surface reduction
and performance improvement measure as you're telling MapGuide *what* your
data store structure is like instead of letting the FDO provider find out
for itself.

If you describe the schema of a configured feature source, it isn't going to
return all 1000 tables in your database, it's only going to return the
number of tables/featureclasses you defined in the configuration document.
