The branch is not intended to mean feature freeze. And I think, any
features that don't get accepted into 1.1 (e.g., it might not be in a
stable state when we want to beta or release the branch) could be put
into Trunk.

PSC,

When this branch is created, does that mean that we go into feature
freeze (in prep for Beta/RC releases), or is it just to allow 1.2
features to start working their way into the trunk?

Hi,

I would like to target next Monday (or Tuesday) for when we create a
1.1.x branch off of the trunk. This branch will hold all current
submissions to the trunk to date. I will be enumerating the list of
things that are in 1.1.x to date in a subsequent email.
