[mapguide-users] How to can make mapguide faster?

I have also experienced performance issues when using base layers.  For
instance, I was helping a client setup their MapGuide Enterprise application
a few weeks ago and we had some performance problems with MrSID rasters.
So, we tried to create a base layer group with this layer within it and ran
into horrible server performance.  I would expect this to be slow the first
time the tiles are generated, but subsequent requests to be much quicker.
This was not the case and we found that using base layers was actually
slower than not using base layers.  Perhaps this is addressed in the
upcoming MGE patches, but I don't really know.

hello again!

I have tested my map whit  base layers - it look faster but it is to
poor...why it is so slow? i use 2-3 layers (streets, rivers,buildings)
another are show in zoom.

What are your serwer configuration(OS + hardware) and internet conection(2MB
,4MB etc) (serwer-internet)

What is optimal configuration of this things?

Hove can i make it faster. Are any solution to reduction size of img
generatet by mapviewer?
