I think we have a winner then. This may be a good point in time to
discuss the integration, so if anyone has questions or ideas...

I think a generic approach would be cool, that could be applied to
services as well as layers or caches.

Maybe that way it would be easier to e.g. integrate handling of vector
tiles...
