[Mapserver-dev] MapServer 4.4.0-beta1

Daniel,

Arnulf forwarded the announcement of 4.4.0-beta1 from the dev-list to 
me and asked me to tell you my experince.

For now I just can tell you that it built well on three FreeBSD 4.10 
boxes, but I couldn't build it on SuSE 9.0 and debian woody (I posted 
that issue on the user list on 21th oct).


As I've just built it today, I have no experience in using 
mapserver-4.4.beta1. That'll follow next week.
