null values in GML

Probably need to fix the native driver anyway. The OGR connecter I
assume removes
the stars but what happens when the GML is output?

Hi list,

just reporting back that the asterisk problem (*************) for null
values in the GML could be solved by using OGR to connect to the
shapefiles
instead of using the Mapserver native shapefile connector.
