[mapserver-dev] MapCache seeding - mod_mapserver or enable-mapserver?

For high thread cache seeding, what is the recommendation, using mod-mapserver for wms or using the  --enable-mapserver option in mapcache? I'm assuming the direct enable mapserver option to avoid image re-encoding etc.

I have been unable to get the experimental mapserver mode compiled into mapcache. I get
