Thanks a lot Jeff for your support.
The WFS-T was indeed started a long time ago, historically prior to the
Barcelona event, I remember presenting it to the MapServer community
(through Daniel Morissette) with Nicolas during this event. At that time
I have a working version using the MapServer version available at that
time. We used it some time after for a client in production. But after
that we didn’t really maintain the code. I remember some time ago
thinking of concurrency gesture for instance for file based backend but
I do not remember implementing it Anyway, the wfs-t source code is
available on the MapMint repository for a while now (since the last
OSGeo Code Sprint in Vienna, oops sorry the C-Tribe / QGIS Code Sprint I
should say … ). As we used the MapServer C-API for implementing the
WFS-T support and I know that it evolves a lot from one version to
another it is not really sure that the current code is working with the
current MapServer version. Obviously, by spending few times to check
what was the potential C-API changes it should be easy to fix it and
make it working again based on a modified version of the work made at
that time.
