[mapserver-dev] Allowing spaces in layer names (WMS/WFS)

Hi Tamas,

the space character is not allowed in the layer name (in the xml
sintax) , instead the dot (as example) is allowed.

The need to support an xml sintax is that the layer name are
retrievable from a GetCapabilities response that is an xml.
