simple "shopping cart" based on mapserver

Hi,

I am new to mapserver. I have installed the basic setup, and tried the
core functionality.

I would appreciate some feeback from the list on the possibility of
developing via mapserver 
a sort of "basic shopping cart" function, i.e. selecting a feature from
my map and adding the corresponding ID to a list which is displayed in
another frame.
