MapServer and SDE

Hi Gernot,

I'm not familiar with Windows NT so I can't answer your question with
confidence. However, having said that, I do know that you will have to
compile mapserv with the SDE option. Otherwise I think that it will
not work. You will also need to make sure that your Oracle client
software is available on your mapserv server so that it knows how to
connect to the Oracle server. You will need to do this before you
compile mapserv.

I hope that this helps. Steve Lime will definitely know more about it
but I expect that he is very busy an relies on other users replying if
they know the answer. I hope that someone will correct me if they know
that I have said something wrong.
